IN PARTNERSHIP WITH
OTTRED > FUNDING
PROXIMITY TO CAPITAL THAT ACTUALLY SHOWS UP
Most founders and operators in media tech do not have a funding problem. They have a proximity problem. The capital exists and it is looking for exactly the kind of businesses being built across this community. What is missing is the short walk between a good company and the people who can credibly back it, and that walk can swallow eighteen months and a dozen introductions that never quite land.
So we have shortened it. OTTRED has partnered with EY-Parthenon and their Media and Entertainment practice to put founders, operators and business owners within reach of dependable, credible funding sources. Not a list of names, and not an introduction that quietly goes cold. Real proximity to institutional capital, with the counsel to know whether you are ready for it, and the weight to be taken seriously when you are.
Four things that change once you are in the room
This is not a referral service. It is a structured pathway into the capital and advisory relationships that actually move businesses forward in streaming, media and technology. Here is what becomes possible when the door is opened by someone the room already trusts.
An honest read on where you stand
Your business seen through the lens an investor will use, before you walk into the room rather than after you have left it. EY-Parthenon's Media and Entertainment team has spent two decades evaluating companies exactly like yours, and they will tell you straight what a buyer sees, what strengthens your hand, and what quietly weakens it. That read, delivered early, is worth more than any pitch deck.
Access to institutional capital
Private equity, strategic investors and M&A counterparties who move in this sector daily, reached through a firm they already trust. EY-Parthenon sits across the table from the funds writing the cheques in streaming, media and technology. When they open a conversation on your behalf, it starts from credibility, not from a cold inbox. That is the difference between an introduction that lands and one that disappears.
Diligence grade thinking, early
The hard questions asked first by people who ask them for a living. Fewer surprises in the room, better terms on the table, and a process that does not stall at the moment it matters most. The firms that close are the ones that walked in prepared for the scrutiny. EY-Parthenon's diligence framework is the same one the largest private equity houses use, and it is available to you before you ever meet a buyer.
Introductions with weight behind them
When EY-Parthenon opens a door on your behalf, it opens differently. That is the whole point. A warm introduction from a trusted advisory name carries a credibility that no cold outreach can replicate. The person on the other side already has a reason to take the call, already has a framework for evaluating it, and already trusts the person who sent you. You start three steps ahead.
The people opening the doors

He has built and led teams that deliver commercial and operational value across the media value chain, from creation to distribution to monetisation, and he brings that full stack perspective to every conversation.
When Raghav opens a door for a founder, it opens with the weight of a firm that sits across the table from the largest funds and media houses in the world. That is the proximity this partnership exists to create.

Three steps between here and the room
No upfront fees. No long contracts. No commitment until both sides see a genuine fit. The process is designed to be low friction for you and high signal for everyone involved.
STEP 01
Tell us where you are
A short, confidential conversation with the OTTRED team about the business, where you are taking it, and what kind of capital or partnership would actually move the needle. This is not a sales call. It is a scoping conversation to understand whether there is a genuine fit before anyone commits time to the process.
STEP 02
Get a proper read
The EY-Parthenon team looks at your business the way an investor would, and tells you straight what they see. Where the value sits, where the risk sits, what a buyer would pay for and what they would discount. If you are not ready, they will say so. If you are, they will tell you how to be readier. Either way, you leave the conversation with a clearer picture than you walked in with.
STEP 03
Get in the room
Where there is a genuine fit, you are introduced to funding sources who move in this sector every day. Not a list of names. Not an introduction that quietly goes cold. Real conversations with real capital, facilitated by people who know what a good match looks like because they see it from both sides of the table.
How To Get Started
This is open to anyone building a business in streaming, media or technology. You do not need to be an OTTRED member to register your interest. Tell us honestly where the business is, and we will match you to the right conversation rather than the nearest one.
Already an OTTRED member? You can also register your interest directly in the OTTRED app or speak to the team. Either way, the process starts with the same short conversation.
