Why we are doing this
OTTRED is the intelligence hub for the global streaming, media and broadcast industry. Our community is home to leaders from across the sector, people who have built the platforms, run the businesses and shaped the technology that the whole industry runs on. But every one of them started somewhere, and most of them started because someone opened a door, answered a question, or gave them a first chance.
Signal Shift is the platform built by under 30s for under 30s working in streaming and broadcast. Through events, careers support and their monthly magazine, they help young professionals break into the industry, level up, and help lead it forward. In a few months they have already built something the industry has been missing: a genuine voice for the next generation.
Bringing that energy into OTTRED feels like a natural fit. This partnership creates more of those moments where a door opens and a question gets answered. Signal Shift now has its own home inside the OTTRED app, with spaces for their live sessions and events, open conversation, every issue of the magazine, and career opportunities across the industry.
