We found 20 live opportunities. 19 are clearly paid, and the 20th, NBCUniversal's programme, offers a benefits package without stating the salary. 13 close within the next fortnight, and 10 of those close this Tuesday, 20 October. What We Found
Three things worth knowing this week
The studios are hiring for summer 2027, and they're hiring now.
Disney opened its UK internship programme on 13 October, paying £28,000 for a year, and most of its roles close just one week later. NBCUniversal opened its 2027 UK programme on 5 October with more than 90 placements across about 50 roles. Eight months before anyone starts, the window is already closing.
NBCUniversal is open to school leavers too.
Alongside undergraduates, its programme welcomes people looking for experience after A levels, an equivalent course or an apprenticeship. That's rarer than it should be, so it's worth knowing.
The big UK broadcaster schemes are between rounds.
Channel 4's apprenticeships and Production Training Scheme, ScreenSkills Trainee Finder, Grierson DocLab and MAMA Youth have all closed their latest intakes, and none has announced its next date yet.
